After a quiet start to 2016 for me, it was great to hear from Martin at Capital Sound, who asked me to Crew Chief the We R FSTVL event at the end of May.

I jumped at the chance, not having worked on this event before, and after a couple of prep days in the warehouse at SW19, we headed to site on a tour bus to set up on the main Stage, as well as Arena 1 & 2.

The usual traditional British bank holiday weather held off for us for the rig day and both show days, leaving us nice and dry with a full complement of Martin Audio MLA on all three stages providing the SPL demanded by the 25,000 crowd.

Headlined by Fatboy Slim and Steve Angello on Saturday and Sunday respectively, and each day providing 12 hours of ‘bangin’ tunes’ from a host of DJ’s including Mistajam, DJ Fresh, Son of 8, Sigma, Disciples and Armand Van Helden the event passed off without a hitch.
